Building a team that has the talent, ambition, skills, and tenacity to strive for victory day in and day out is not a simple task. Ask any leader, coach, or corporate executive and they will vehemently echo this sentiment. But this is exactly what Chad Johnson has done as Owner/CEO of Lady Jane’s Haircuts for Men. Through methodical interviewing and judging of talent, Johnson has brought together his current “Dream Team” and they are ready to push Lady Jane’s Haircuts for Men nationwide. Each team member brings a different skill set, personality, and areas of expertise to the table, but each share a common drive and love of LJ. Below we highlight each member of the LJ Corporate staff and their “Wicked Awesome” qualities:

  • Chad Johnson

    Chad Johnson - Chairman/CEO

    An insatiable hunger for success has taken this young professional to the top much faster than most thirty-somethings! His employees refer to him as “rain man” as he is unbelievable with numbers. Chad was born and raised in Boston, spent some time in North Carolina and moved to Michigan to make his millions. He combines a superior business sense with a street fighter instinct that makes him a force to be reckoned with in any arena he enters. He expects 120% of everyone and always stops to smell the roses. You only need to meet Chad once and he will make a lasting impression on you. Chad’s enthusiasm is infectious.

  • Tim McCollum

    Tim McCollum - President/COO

    A solid business background and twenty years of operations, management and marketing experience set a solid foundation for this University of Michigan Grad. Tim is also very competitive and lives for results! In the office environment Tim is a calming presence and breaks Chad’s visions down into executable business plans. Tim is a shrewd negotiator and loves the art of the deal. If you have an awesome marketing idea or an unbelievable new site for LJ, Tim is your contact!

  • Annette Havelock

    Annette Havelock, CPA - Controller/Accounting Director

    Show me the money! Annette is a Walsh College graduate who craves success! She brings 16 years of accounting experience to LJ and will be using her CPA license and vast financial knowledge to lead LJ on a bright and fiscally responsible path. Annette will also utilize her membership to the MI association of certified public accountants to minimize the costs and maximize revenue during our aggressive expansion plans. Annette was drawn to LJ because of the endless opportunity and laid back atmosphere. When it come to receivables and payables…Annette is your go to person!

  • Dezerae Kazarian

    Dezerae Kazarian - National Director of Salon Operations

    Dez is yet another example of LJ promoting within as a result of Wicked Awesome behavior. Dez has been with LJ for 3 years and has quickly moved up the ranks from stylist, to superstar stylist, to rock star store manager of our Sterling Heights LJ and then Regional Salon Director for all of Michigan.   Lucky for LJ, she was not ready to stop there. She now oversees our operations Nationwide. Dezi is a firecracker and takes on each task with an aggressive passion that truly makes her one of a kind. She has 8 years of progressive experience in managing, cutting and styling men's hair.  Dez's leadership and passion are monumental to LJ's continued growth and success.

  • Jennifer Golas

    Jennifer Golas - Corporate Office Manager

    Jen-nay is the longest tenured LJ employee. She has seen it all. Her knowledge of the LJ brand, dedication and loyalty are second to none. She has opened stores, hired staff, traveled all over the Country and has been a difference maker for LJ. Jenny's 9 years of management experience is vital in running the day to day operations of our corporate office. Jenny oversees our Human Resources Division and manages and tracks the recruitment of all LJ employees and stylists across the country. When she has a free moment from all this she can usually be found helping Chad execute one of his new, extravagant, yet profitable plans.

  • Brandon O’Leary

    Brandon O’Leary - Finance Manager

    Somebody has to make sure the books balance and the bills stay in check. That person is Brandon O’Leary. With previous experience both managing day to day business finances and an understanding of Quickbooks, Brandon keeps his finger on the pulse of LJ’s finances. Brandon tracks and projects Lady Jane’s revenue, balances the books, and assists with a number of taxes related issues, making him the a vital part of the LJ team.

  • Keri Linzner

    Keri Linzner - Marketing/Operations Director

    Another LJ superstar moves up the ranks into our corporate headquarters. Keri steps through the LJ threshold with 8 impressive years of styling and 3 years of management experience in our Farmington Hills, Michigan location. If managing one of our top ten stores, with a full time schedule, was not enough...Keri managed to complete a Bachelors degree and Masters degree in Public Administration and brings a multitude of skills to the LJ table. She is not only highly skilled in the operation of an LJ store, but also possess experience in marketing, human resources, management and analytical reasoning that complements our current LJ staff. Keri will aid us in our quest to provide an unbelievable haircut experience to men and boys all over the U.S by working closely with Tim to manage media and improve continuity at the store level.

  • Laura Mester

    Laura Mester - Regional Salon Director (Michigan)

    Passion goes a long way in the Lady Jane's corporate environment. Passion for the LJ product and an unbelievable work ethic is what sky rocketed Laura Mester from stylist, to store manager, to Regional Salon Director for all of Michigan in less than a year in a half. Her enthusiasm and commitment to the LJ system is infectious. Laura bleeds LJ. Her ability to problem solve and remain calm and friendly in the most challenging of circumstances is one of her best attributes. Laura is a key addition to the LJ corporate team and will work closely with Dez to operate and maintain our stores and our top notch reputation in the Michigan market.

  • Brittany Nickelson

    Brittany Nickelson - Regional Salon Director (Illinois & Wisconsin)

    Brittany started as the manager of our Naperville location and has quickly climbed the company ranks with an intense drive to succeed. Her commitment to Lady Jane’s is constant and her knowledge and expertise of salon operations is second to none. Brittany has made an immediate impact on our Chicago operations and she will be a huge part of our expansion plans as we open 25 stores over the next five years in the Chicago / Milwaukee area. If you are one of the many Naperville clients wondering where Brittany is...you will catch her cutting once a week in one of our Chicago area stores.

  • Stacey Maczulis

    Stacey Maczulis - Regional Salon Director (Ohio)

    This Brown Aveda Institute super star brings eight years of high level management, sales and customer service skills to the LJ table. Stacey is not only wicked awesome with people, but can give a killer haircut too. Her ability to assess difficult situations and find resolve make her a vital piece to the LJ ever growing empire. Stacey serves as the Regional Salon Director for the Ohio region including the Cleveland and Columbus metro area stores. Stacey will play a key role in the opening and management of LJ stores as we clean up Ohio...One haircut at a time!

  • Tara Shramek

    Tara Shramek - Regional Salon Director (New York)

    Tara is a passionate person who brings a wealth of men's haircutting experience to LJ. She has been cutting men's hair for more than 11 years and has 9 years of management experience. Tara has won numerous mens haircare awards and is organized, aggressive and a leader. She oversees our NY stores and ensures that our clients are given the LJ experience they deserve!

  • Christine Bizenberger

    Christine Bizenberger - Development Director

    Christine steps up our operations staff with a strong background in salon operations as well as international business relations. She is a licensed Cosmetologist in Germany where she grew up and has 10 years of management experience in spa and hair salon operations. Christine is a very passionate and capable member of our staff. She spends most of her time assisting Tim with the construction details, opening new stores and managing the build out.     Erika Cieslak - Product Director

    Erika has quickly worked her way up from the front desk and shown an insatiable drive to better herself and make Lady Jane's better as well. She is a quick learner and has an attention to detail that will allow her to take our product division to the next level. Her ability to multitask, organize and effectively communicate will allow her to offer the best products to our customers and create continuity with our salons and stylists.   • Chris Kapelczak

    Chris Kapelczak - General Contractor/On-Site Development Manager

    If you build it, they will get their haircut...Chris Kapleczak is in charge of building Lady Jane’s Haircuts for Men’s field of dreams, where every guy has the best haircut experience possible, every time. Making that possible is Chris’ years of experience in general carpentry, mixed with electrical and plumbing knowledge. Chris is the force that sees every new Lady Jane’s through from architectural plans to the man-rific haircut experience that is a finished Lady Jane’s salon.

    Rose DiTrapani - Corporate Receptionist

    Every great store has a cool, calm and friendly receptionist. Rose brings a great attitude and team spirit to our front desk. She not only has to juggle phone calls and meetings for our corporate staff, but she also keeps the busiest store in our company running smooth. Rose's constant positive attitude, strong work ethic and infectious smile make her a key member LJ corporate team.

  • Robby Dhillon

    Robby Dhillon - IT Consultant

    Some would call this computer whiz “Superman” for the amazing work he has done. Robby created our LJ point of sale check in system from scratch! It is one of the best accomplishments of 2009 for LJ. It has streamlined the way we do business. Robby continues to amaze daily as he help LJ integrate new technology into its business operations. Robby can be seen buried in his computer room working on our website, improving our web based communication with our stores and manipulating our POS system to give us more and better reports to run our business better. His knowledge and can do attitude provide a much needed technical twist to the LJ team.

  • Dave Herweyer

    Dave Herweyer - Chief Engineer

    He can fix it! Dave has the yeoman's job of maintaining our stores and ensuring the stores live up to the LJ standard. Dave is a decorated US Navy Veteran who believes in fixing it right the first time. His 20 years of commercial engineering, facilities, and maintenance experience make him a perfect fit for LJ. When it comes to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, controls, advanced electronics, and appliance repair...Dave is our man. If Dave can't fix it...then we don't need it!!! As LJ expands aggressively, Dave is a key member of our team to ensure we maintain our stores and provide a safe environment for stylists to cut and men to enjoy!

    Louis Ciotti - Real Estate Broker

    A modern-day pathfinder, Louis keeps his eyes and ears to the pavement in a relentless search for the next Lady Jane's site in every target market. A fiery individual, Louis's determination, patience, and diligence ensure that Lady Jane's is kept apprised of all available options. Louis is the front line of the LJ real estate world, and his expertise combines with Tim and Sean's making for home-run site after home-run site.
